What FlagX knows about you
Very little, by design.
Votes
Votes are stored only as anonymous aggregates: how many times flag A beat flag B on a given day. There are no user accounts and no per-person vote records.
Country
Your approximate country is derived from your IP address by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) while a request is processed. It is used to pick your home-flag matchup and to weight votes, and appears in the public "recent votes" feed only as a flag (for example, "a voter from 🇳🇴"). Raw IP addresses are not stored by FlagX.
On your device
Your streak, language choice, and daily vote count live in your browser's local storage and never leave your device.
Advertising
FlagX shows ads served by Google. When ads are active, Google may use cookies or similar technologies as described in Google's advertising policies, and you can manage personalization at Google Ad Settings.
If you opt in to result emails, your address is stored with our email provider (Resend) and used for nothing else. Every email contains an unsubscribe link.
